Positive Impacts:

  1. Renewable Energy: Technology enables the development and deployment of renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, hydroelectric, and geothermal power. Renewable energy technologies help reduce greenhouse gas emissions, mitigate climate change, and promote sustainable energy production.

  2. Energy Efficiency: Technology improves energy efficiency in various sectors through innovations such as energy-efficient appliances, smart buildings, LED lighting, and advanced HVAC systems. Energy-efficient technologies reduce energy consumption, lower carbon emissions, and decrease reliance on fossil fuels.

  3. Environmental Monitoring: Technology facilitates environmental monitoring and data collection through sensors, satellites, and remote sensing technologies.
