5 Steps to Learn Storytelling Skill

     As far as story telling or writing is concerned, only a quite number of people know that it is a art or skill which can be developed. We often think that the art of storytelling is something difficult and complex, aquird a quite number of skilled people in society. It is not the truth. The skills necessary to tell a story can be acquired through practice and with the right toolkit, we all can become a master storyteller. In order to influence ordience by your story you need to acquire some skills which is given below. 

1. Gather complete knowledge about your audience and plan a story

   The first thing which is very crucial is to understand your audience. As for example- What's their age? Why they come to you? Do you need to come across more professional or will a friendly tone work better? Will it be published as a blog post, on Social media, or another platform or the speech which going to be performed on the stage?

   These are very important aspects to consider to help you make a good plan, set the right tone and achieve the best effects with your audience.

2. Make a central massege of your story

   A great story usually progresses towards a central or message. When crafting a story, you should have a definite idea of what you’re building toward. 
If your story is regarding a moral massege, you should have a complete idea about it in order to convay that message to listeners or readers.If you’re telling a funny story, you might build toward a twist that will leave your audience in stitches. If you’re telling an engaging story, try to increase the dramatic tension and suspense right up until the climax of your narrative. Regardless of what type of story you are telling, it’s important to be very clear on the central theme or plot point that you are building your story around.

3. Engage your audience

   You have to engage your audience through your story. How to engage audience? In order to engage your audience you can make a joke or ask some question. You should use punchline.

   A punchline is the climactic conclusion of a story or joke that makes an audience laugh. It’s a short line that delivers a humorous reveal. Punchlines are often funny because they are the opposite of what an audience is expecting.

4. Give necessary information

   It's important that your story includes all the information an audience needs to understand the events and characters. To increase clarity, ensure that you include important details and provide context. This includes information about the setting, such as time and location, and character motivations and characteristics. You can also be sure to thoroughly explain the problem and describe how the characters plan to solve it.

5. Ending

   The ending of your story plays vital role. So you have to carefully design your ending. You can make a unexpected ending. That means it can be beyond the audience's imazination. By which that story will be remain forever in their mind.

Note: Don't use much complex words on your writing.
