Google Meet session with Google Calendar
Scheduling a Google Meet session with Google Calendar is quite straightforward. Here's a step-by-step guide:
Open Google Calendar: Go to calendar.google.com and sign in with your Google account if you're not already logged in.
Create a New Event: Click on the "+" button or select a time slot on your calendar to create a new event.
Add Event Details: In the event creation window, enter the title, date, and time for your meeting.
Add Guests: In the "Add guests" section, enter the email addresses of the participants you want to invite to the meeting. You can also select people from your contacts list.
Enable Google Meet: In the same event creation window, you'll see an option that says "Add Google Meet video conferencing." Check this box to include a Google Meet link with the meeting invitation.
Choose Notification Settings: Set your preferred notification settings for the meeting, such as email reminders.
Additional Options: You can also add a description, change the event color, set a specific calendar, and add any other relevant details.
Save the Event: Once you've filled out all the necessary information, click on the "Save" button to schedule the meeting and send out invitations to the participants.
After you've saved the event, Google Calendar will automatically generate a Google Meet link for the meeting, and it will be included in the invitation sent to the participants. At the scheduled time, participants can click on the Google Meet link within the calendar event to join the meeting.
This integration makes it easy to schedule and manage virtual meetings using Google Calendar and Google Meet, streamlining the process of remote collaboration.
