Google Meet session in Google Calendar on an Android Device
Scheduling a Google Meet session in Google Calendar on an Android device is quite similar to scheduling it on a computer. Here's how you can do it:
Open Google Calendar: Tap on the Google Calendar app icon on your Android device to open it.
Create a New Event: To create a new event, tap on the "+" button or select a time slot on your calendar.
Enter Event Details: Fill in the details for your meeting, such as the title, date, and time.
Add Guests: Scroll down to the "Add guests" section, and tap on it to add participants to the meeting. Enter the email addresses of the people you want to invite or select them from your contacts.
Enable Google Meet: After adding guests, you'll see an option labeled "Add Google Meet video conferencing." Tap on this option to include a Google Meet link with the meeting invitation.
Set Notification Settings: Set your preferred notification settings for the meeting, such as reminders.
Save the Event: Once you've filled out all the necessary information, tap on the "Save" button to schedule the meeting and send out invitations to the participants.
Once the event is saved, Google Calendar will automatically generate a Google Meet link for the meeting, and it will be included in the invitation sent to the participants. At the scheduled time, participants can click on the Google Meet link within the calendar event to join the meeting directly from their Android devices.
This integration allows you to schedule and manage virtual meetings using Google Calendar and Google Meet conveniently from your Android device, enabling efficient remote collaboration and communication.
